Paulette says:
This is a little Thanksgiving Season starter project to add to your autumn lineup, featuring a pilgrim couple (you know how I love pilgrim couples!) and the year of the first Thanksgiving celebration. Bitter Crow's Cushion is the accompanying pinkeep with a little crow in the middle, stitched over one thread. An alternative would be to sew a decorative crow button to the middle.
Stitch count: 79w x 79h for Goodness and Thanks; 35w x 35h for Bitter Crow
Linen used: 36 ct. Plum Street Blend by R&R Reproductions, and distributed by Hoffman Distributing Company; if this linen is unavailable (Covid continues to hold up production in many areas of our industry), a good substitute would be Espresso or French Vanilla, also by R&R. But any neutral color will work.
Threads used: Classic Colorworks in Fresh Brew, Glazed Carrots, La Tierra, Zach Black, Sunkissed, Weeping Willow, Just Rust, Hickory Sticks, and Shabby Sheep.
Trim used: I used black rick rack and 4 buttons for a hanger on Goodness & Thanks and black rick rack on the edges of Bitter Crow's Cushion
