The pattern calls for a mixture of Au Ver a Soir Soie D'Alger, Needlepoint Inc Silks (NPI) and Belle Soie from Classic Colorworks. There is a DMC conversion included with the pattern.

Anne used white beads for the birds' eyes noted with the symbol "0". For 40ct. linen we selected Mill Hill Petite Glass Beads (Ice). They are also available in White.
The model is over two threads on 40ct. 'Doubloon' linen from Picture This Plus. The stitch count is 159w x 173h.
